July 1, 2008 - District 32 - The District 32 Club will not meet this month due to the July 4th holidays.
July 4, 2008 Parade - Join the West County Republican Club and other republicans and march in the Greater Severna Park Chamber of Commerce Annual Independence Day Parade and Festival. The parade is to start at 10:00am at St. Martin's-in-the-field on Benfield Road and Our Shepherd Lutheran Churches and it culminates with a festival at Cypress Creek Park. The Theme is "Old Glory" A celebration of Freedom. Those who wish be participate in the parade should arrive by 9:00am to find a place to park and join the group. Please wear a solid red, white, or blue T-Shirt. Please be uniform, it looks more organized. For information contact Susan Porter.
July 22, 2008 - WCRC. The West County Republican Club is holding a Dinner Meeting at Kaufmann's, 329 Gambrills Road, Gambrills, MD, 21054. There is a social beginning at 6:30 p.m, Dinner at 7:00 pm, followed with a discussion of the "2008 Candidates and Campaigns". The speakers are David Hays of the McCain Campaign and Mr. Thomas "Pinkstone"Harris, Republican Candidate for the Third Congressional District. Chuck Gast and Eric Flamino who have been chosen as the Anne Arundel County McCain Campaign Co-ordinators will moderate. Reservation information is here. The Anne Arundel County Council meets on the first and third Mondays of each month at the Arundel Center.
The Annapolis City Council meets on the second and fourth Mondays of each month at City Hall, Duke of Gloucester Street, Annapolis.
The Anne Arundel County School Board meets the first and third Wednesday of each month.
