Welcome to the West County Republican Club on-line

In February 1993, a small group of concerned citizens met to discuss politics and explore their role in shaping their community. They had the energy and interest. Their first act was to form a club and invite political leaders to speak to them and discuss how they could work together.

They called their club, the West County Republican Club.

Over the years, the club has grown and flourished and has taken a leadership role in the state and is now the largest Republican club in Anne Arundel County.

The West County Republicans welcome new members.

There is lots to do and many opportunities to learn and contribute.

Let’s March in the Fourth of July Parades

Severna Park Parade

Check-in opens at 8:30am at St. Martin's-in-the-field Episcopal Church on Benfield Rd.

The Greater Severna Park Chamber of Commerce, who is the parade sponsor, does group all the Republicans, Republican clubs, elected Officials, and candidates together. They want us to be ready to move out at 9:30am.

The parade steps off at 10:00 a.m. from St. Martin's in-the-Field Episcopal Church and Our Shepherd Lutheran Church on Benfield Road. Proceeds towards Severna Park High School, where the parade takes a right onto Evergreen Road. The parade moves towards Severn School, and turns left onto Riggs Avenue, then goes right at B&A Blvd. The parade proceeds towards Cypress Creek Road, where it turns left. The parade culminates with a Festival at Cypress Creek Park until 1:30 p.m.

If you haven’t participated in this parade, there is always a back-up of cars trying to get into limited parking at St. Martin’s so they suggest you have someone drop you off and then park near the end of the route.

Republican Attire is Red, White and Blue clothing

The AAGOP will have a booth at the Cypress Creek Park Festival from 10 am - 1 pm to register voters during the parade and after the parade ends. Candidates and elected official can distribute literature etc. at the AAGOP booth.
